Pre-Owned 2024 Volkswagen Golf R 2.0T AWD Hatchback

2024 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF R 4MOTION WITH 6-SPEED MANUAL, APR STAGE 3 POWERMAX GT2563S TURBOCHARGER SYSTEM AND APR PERFORMANCE INTAKE. DEEP BLACK PEARL, DCC ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION, TORQUE-VECTORING ALL-WHEEL DRIVE, 19-INCH WHEELS AND JUST 13,238 MILES. CARFAX 1-OWNER.

This Golf R takes Volkswagen's celebrated all-wheel-drive hot hatchback formula in a more performance-focused direction. Alongside its factory turbocharged engine and engaging six-speed manual transmission, it has been upgraded with an APR Stage 3 PowerMax GT2563S Turbocharger System (part T4100010) and APR Intake System (part CI100053). These are substantial aftermarket performance upgrades developed specifically for the EA888 Gen 4 engine platform.

The APR PowerMax system features a Garrett GT2563S turbocharger engineered as a direct-replacement upgrade. APR designed the system with approximately 20% greater compressor flow and 37% greater turbine flow compared with the factory turbocharger, supporting increased performance potential. The complementary APR intake improves the engine's airflow pathway and adds a more pronounced induction sound.

APR advertises significant horsepower gains with compatible Stage 3 software, supporting equipment and specific fuel calibrations. This vehicle's installed ECU software and actual horsepower output have not been independently confirmed, so no modified horsepower figure is represented. For an enthusiast looking for a Golf R with meaningful aftermarket performance hardware already installed, this is an important distinction.

The underlying Golf R is an impressive driver's car. In factory configuration, its 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged four-cylinder produces 315 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque with the six-speed manual. R-Performance 4MOTION all-wheel drive with rear-axle torque vectoring distributes power for improved cornering response, while DCC adaptive chassis control allows adjustments to suspension behavior. Race, Special and Drift driving modes add another dimension to the experience.

Deep Black Pearl paint, 19-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels with summer performance tires, LED lighting, distinctive R styling and quad-outlet exhaust give this hatchback its understated yet aggressive appearance. Inside, Titan Black with Blue Accents complements the performance-oriented cockpit.

Heated and ventilated front sport seats, a heated sport steering wheel, digital instrumentation and Head-Up Display provide a premium driving environment. The power sunroof, automatic climate control and split-folding rear seats make the Golf R comfortable and practical for everyday use.

Technology includes adaptive cruise control, Travel Assist semi-automated driving assistance, Active Side Assist blind spot monitoring, Front Assist collision mitigation and rear parking assistance. Smartphone connectivity, rearview camera and digital driver information further enhance convenience.

Car and Driver named the 2024 Golf R an Editors' Choice and awarded it a 9/10 rating, praising its powerful turbocharged engine, entertaining handling and everyday hatchback practicality. The six-speed manual is particularly desirable because 2024 marked the final U.S. model year offering this transmission in the Golf R.

The original factory equipment includes DCC adaptive suspension, 4MOTION all-wheel drive, 19-inch performance wheels, heated and ventilated sport seats and comprehensive driver assistance. The APR turbocharger and intake modifications add a distinctly enthusiast-focused element beyond the factory specification.
